Overview
The MIPS ARC® Audio Low Power (LP) MP3 Decoder decodes the world’s most popular audio format (MP3). Its low power design results in a very small processor load and limited data traffic on the system bus. Similar to all MIPS ARC Audio decoders, the Low Power MP3 Decoder is very robust against memory latency, making it suitable for a wide range of applications and systems.

- Support for large input buffers to decode non-standard 640 kbit/s free-format streams
- Support for bit-rates 8..640 kbps
- Provides 32-bit PCM output
